Daniel Deimel, Expert vehicle communication and autonomous driving at ÖAMTC: The status of a European wide famous Austrian project: Access to in-vehicle data – chances and risks

The Austrian ÖAMTC initiated more than 25.000 mails directly to Ursula von der Leyen. This resulted in an all-party resolution by the Austrian national assembly, demanding free access to data. Drivers should be able to rely on the breakdown service to provide competent assistance and on independent garages to offer expert and affordable repairs. Within a few days, 9 international associations followed this move! Daniel will keep us informed, how this movement will further develop.
